Fashionistas!

We already know the two sisters Anouk (6) and Tara (10) from previous fashionista posts. They showed us their very own and special style and proved that, allthough so young, they have an excellent taste.
They sent us these pictures from their latest vacation in Italy in august. All of the pictures are really great. My favourite is the first one, showing the two girls with their mom walking down the street holding hands. They all look so beautiful and so cool and stylish with their hats!
In the second picture Tara and Anouk are dressed in tutu's and striped shirt- both are from the Junior Gaultier fall/winter 2011 collection. So both girl's allready knew in august what was going to be trend this winter.
Tutu's are one of THE trends for this fall and winter. Nearly every designer at least has one tutu in his or her collection. And that is for a reason- tutus simply are great!
Worn with a striped shirt and a leather jacket you look very glam-rock. And even worn with sneakers and printed tanktop by Roma e Toska (third picture) the tulleskirt by il gufo looks soo cool and stylish.
Complete the outfit with a hairbow or hairband (also a big trend this winter- see older post) like Anouk and Tara. Those two girls are literally stylish from head to toe.
But tulleskirts and tutus are not only great in summer with naked legs. They also look amazing with a pair of knitted leggings (e.g. the one by Poppy Rose), colorful tights a chunky pullover and boots.
They also work very well as skirts underneath other skirts or dresses to add some extra volume.
So thanks again to Anouk, Tara and their mommy for these beautiful pictures and for showing us this great tullskirt trend for winter 2011!!
